Welcome to Tudor Lodge . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
| John with Lynne Whiteland | Lyndon Green, Anne Steuart and John | Linda Peters, John and Lyndon Green |
| Since 1981, Lynne has worked tirelessly to turn me into a musician. Lyndon was still part of Tudor Lodge until 1985, and since then it has been just the two of us. We have had so much fun, the music is so rewarding, and I consider myself lucky indeed. | In 1971 our fist LP was issued on Vertigo. It has since become a highly collectable item which fetch over £1200.00 for 2 copies in March 2004
|
Anne Left at the end of 1971 and was briefly replaced by
Linda Peters, who became Linda
Thompson. However, after a few UK gigs, and a short tour of Holland, Linda left in early 1972.

When Linda Peters left in 1972, the group disbanded until 1980, when Lyndon, Anne and I reformed. A year later, Anne moved to America and Lynne joined. I've been working with Lynne ever since, and her writing has become a central part of our music. For a complete history, discography , and much much more, have a look at our site.

| The first version of Tudor Lodge: John with Roger Strevens from February 1968 to January 1969. | After Roger left, Lyndon joined to fulfill agreed bookings - and he stayed, and stayed, and stayed. My valued friend. | When Lynne and I visited Japan for the launch of our "Dream" CD, it was a joy to reunite with Lyndon for a couple of gigs. |

| The Tudor Lodge story from 1969 to 1972 would not be complete without mention of Karl who secured our record deal with Phonogram on the Vertigo label, and also a position on the bill of the 7th Cambridge Folk Festival. |
